Challenge
Developed over seven years by Hemodyne, the Hemostasis Analysis System sets a new standard in platelet and clotting assessment - a state-of-the-art rapid blood test that is unique in its ability to directly assess platelet health.
In 2004, Hemodyne was recognized as one of the most promising early-stage companies in the biosciences industry, and ranked first in the annual Early-Stage Venture Competition, which recognizes companies for innovation.

Solution
SPARK worked with Hemodyne's scientists to develop a practical and appealing enclosure that allowed ease of use and functionality for lab technicians operating the system. Concurrently, SPARK provided critical systems design, component specification and CAD modeling to prepare the system for production.

The Hemostatsis System is currently being sold for research applications while Hemodyne seeks FDA approval. |
