Challenge
In response to a new era of chemical and biological weapons, Morphix Technologies, through a development grant from the U. S. Marine Corps, created a working model of the Chameleon, a ruggedized, air-born, chemical detection armband for first responders, soldiers and industrial workers.
Morphix's working model defined a low-cost, ten-sensor, field-configurable badge for individual protection utilizing proprietary, color-change chemical sensors.

Solution
To realize a marketable, workable product, Morphix's product design partner, Sprocket Studio, turned to SPARK for mechanical engineering and CAD design to develop the product and prepare it for tooling and production.
SPARK provided critical design-for-manufacturing expertise to insure the Chameleon was ruggedized to meet the demands of harsh environments, including being immersed in water.

Result
Morphix is currently marketing the Chameleon to the emergency response, military and industrial markets.
